WATCH: Civil Civic’s ATP Mini-Documentary

Take a look at the band's dispatch from last year's End Of An Era festivals, with second LP currently in the works

Instrumental math rockers Civil Civic have just reached the target on their Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign in aid of their highly-anticipated second LP, . The campaign closes on June 6 and every additional contribution will help the band to pay for the "long and punishing mixing process" ahead of them.

"This thing is going to give people brain tumours (the awesome kind)," tease band members Aaron Cupples and Ben Green, adding: "It’s a big, ballsy expansion and escalation of the sonic turf we staked-out on our 2011 debut Rules, with more high-emotion and destruction and joy and carnage." Several perks still remain available on the campaign page, offering the chance to pre-order CDs, vinyl, and most irresistible of all – signed postcards!

As a promotion for their fundraiser, the band have given us a look at the above video. The mini documentary tracks ATP’s last holiday camp festival through the eyes of the band, featuring live footage of themselves, Mogwai, Shellac, Ty Segall and many more. It also offers some endearing backstage footage of the bands, fans and organisers sending ATP off in style. Have a watch of that above and have a look at their Indiegogo profile here.
