Circuit Des Yeux, AKA Haley Fohr, has released a new EP featuring live versions of tracks from her latest album, -io.
Spanning four tracks, Live In Chicago features recordings captured during a live session at Jamdek Recording Studio in Chicago, for which she was joined by her touring band of musicians Whitney Johnson, Andrew Scott Young and Ashley Guerrero. The EP is said to capture the process of -io‘s "transition from studio to stage" as Fohr prepared to head out on her current tour in support of the record. Released last October, and marking Fohr’s signing to Matador, -io saw the artist work alongside a 24-piece string, brass and wind ensemble. Earlier this year, she followed it up with the track ‘The Manatee (A Story Of This World Pt. III)’, which emerged from the recording sessions for last year’s album.
