Circuit Des Yeux Unveils New Track, ‘Sculpting The Exodus’

It's the second song to be shared from Haley Fohr's upcoming album, '-io'

Circuit Des Yeux has released a brand new song, and accompanying video, titled ‘Sculpting The Exodus’.

Out today, the track is the second to be unveiled from Haley Fohr’s forthcoming album, -io, which was announced last month and marks her debut with Matador. The video, which you can watch above, was filmed in Chicago during the same session that produced the album’s cover image. The visual depicts Fohr suspended in void and in order to produce it, she trained with stunt coordinator Talin Chat to perform a series of 5 to 7ft free-falls on camera.

Speaking about the track, Fohr says: "What is ‘Sculpting The Exodus’? It is devotion. It is the well. It is my grandmother going into hospice, writhing in pain. It is reality exploding on an island made of sand. It is depression and the isolation of deep grief. I was trapped in a choir of myself with nothing to grab onto but echoes of past selves. It obliterated my heart until the only working parts of me were the appendages furthest from my mind."

Matador will release -io on October 22, 2021.
