A couple of weeks ago, we shared news with you of the latest release through The Quietus Phonographic Corporation, a record from Leeds’ Chrononautz. Entitled Noments, the two-sided limited 12" release (there’s also a digital release which will feature remixes from Bleaching Agent and Photonz) is set for release on July 19. Following the record’s release, Chrononautz will officially launch the record at London’s Cafe Oto on August 3.
The night will feature live music from Chrononautz themselves of course, a headline set from Sly & The Family Drone (who you can read more about here) and from Hirvikolari (whose recent Raw Power live gig you can stream here). The Chrononautz record has already received support from Regis describing it thusly: ""it’s fucked, sounds like LFO / KLF / RSPCA, brutal!!!" Perc and snooker player Steve Davis have also thrown their hat in behind the release.
The record follows previous releases via tQPC by East India Youth, The Charlatans, Grumbling Fur and John Doran’s collaborations with Arabrot, Nik Void, Perc, Nicky Manics, and British Sea Power.
