Following on from the release of their debut album, Noments, on our very own The Quietus Phonographic Corporation label earlier this year, Chrononautz have announced the release of a new EP due next month. You can hear preview of each of the EP’s five tracks above.
Entitled Made In Time, it marks the duo’s return to One Eyed Jacks, the label that they first release with in 2012 with the track ‘Predestination’ featuring on the label’s 2012 compilation Dead Cities Vol. 1. Described as “sounding a bit like the intersection between Rhythm & Sound and Minimal Wave”, a description we can definitely get behind, the release will come ahead of their forthcoming London appearance at Corsica Studios for the annual Plex/Bleed/Them bash on November 6. The EP has been compiled by producer Photonz from a pool of session recordings that the pair sent over from a period of 2 years between 2012 and 2014. Made In Time is out on October 19.
