Charlotte Church is continuing her series of five EPs with THREE, out on August 26 through her own Alligator Wine Records label. Last time we talked to her, she was listening to Trans Am and Disco Inferno and channelling the earth-shaking electronics of Fuck Buttons, and when we received her new record last week, it turns out that, along with her band and producer Gethin John, Church has been taking spacey R&B and then blazing off on proggy tangents.
As a case in point, we’ve excited to post a first play of THREE‘s ‘I Can Dream’, which begins with a pulsing bass line and glacial washes of synth and guitar, before ripping into a fretboard-mangling wig out, flicking back to quiet storm massed-up vocal harmonies and then does the whole thing again.
