Charlemagne Palestine & Rhys Chatham To Play In Leeds

30 years on from their first collaboration, Charlemagne Palestine and Rhys Chatham will share a stage in Leeds this week

Tomorrow (October 12), Leeds’ Howard Assembly Room will play host to a rare collaborative live performance between avant-garde composer and performer Charlemagne Palestine and multi-instrumentalist Rhys Chatham.

The performance comes three decades on from their first collaboration, while it’s also their only planned UK show together. There’s no news on what their collaboration will quite involve with the pair frequently using their live performances as a space for improvisation.

They will be supported on the night by Astral Social Club, the alias of British musician Neil Campbell. Final tickets can be purchased here.
