WATCH: Chairlift’s ‘Sidewalk Safari’ Video

3d-on-the-cheap spectacular!

If chatter on the internet is anything to go by, Chairlift are set to be a big deal next year, which makes sense when you listen to the pacey-lo-fi-Cure-deathpop of their new track ‘Sidewalk Safari’. Chairlift have kindly asked us to show you their new video, which was cleverly filmed in Blue Peter / Heath Robinson fashion, thus: "Eric Epstein, the director, built this device (pictured below) and then connected the cameras digitally," Chairlift tell us. "We would have purchased a 360 degree camera but we didn’t have any money. Also, this video was made in our practice space." ‘Sidewalk Safari’ is taken from the band’s forthcoming second LP Something.
