Central London Gets New Club, Orange Yard

The Soho venue is a new venture from the owners of Wapping club E1

A new club has opened in the heart of London.

Based on Manette Street in Soho, the new club, which is a venture from the owners of Wapping venue E1, comes equipped with a brand new Funktion-One soundsystem and full lighting rig. The owners also say that they have a 6am license for the venue, and claim that the club is the only in the area that is able to open so late.

Orange Yard, its owners say, will build on the club programme already established at E1 but will also be made available for industry events, film shoots and location hires.

The club opened at the start of the month with a pair of in-house parties. A number of promoters are due to host parties at the space in the coming months, including London’s Percolate who have booked Optimo to play the venue for their seventh birthday.

You can keep up to date with Orange Yard’s parties, and get a closer look at the venue, via its Facebook page here. The club is situated just a couple of minutes walk from Tottenham Court Road station.
