Caterina Barbieri’s ‘Fantas’ has been reworked by a number of artists for a new remix album on Editions Mego.
Following the 2019 release of the original track, which featured on Barbieri’s album Ecstatic Computation, Fantas Variations features eight reworks of the titular track. Lyra Pramuk, Annie Garlid and Stine Janvin team up with Evelyn Saylor for a vocal-focused remix of ‘Fantas’, while there are also reworks from Kara-Lis Coverdale, Kali Malone, Jay Mitta, Carlo Maria, Baseck, Walter Zanetti and Bendik Giske. Editions Mego will release Fantas Variations on April 2, 2021.
