Earlier this year we brought you a full stream of a split LP by Casual Nun and Bruxa Maria which was released via the Hominid Sounds label. The record emerged from an idea shared between the two bands after they shared a stage at a gig in London sometime before.
Now we have a video for one of Casual Nun’s tracks on that LP to share in the form of ‘Crane In The Water’ – you can watch the clip above. The video, produced by IMPATV who are also currently providing our series of Rocket Recordings 20th anniversary highlights, centres around murky, hazy footage and psychedelic colours.
"I’d wanted to get IMPATV to do a video for us since seeing their creations for the first time a couple of years ago," says Casual Nun guitarist Matt Ridout. "I’ve been a big fan of IMPATV since then so I’m excited we had a chance to get them to do a treatment for one of our songs."
The video comes ahead of Casual Nun’s appearance on our very own stage at London’s Desertfest on May 4, playing alongside Swedish Death Candy, Melting Hand, Ghold, Snapped Ankles and White Hills.
