Carter Tutti Void are releasing their second album f (x) on September 11 via Industrial Records.
The trio of Cosey Fanni Tutti, Chris Carter and Nik Colk Void, recorded their debut Transverse – one of tQ’s favourite albums of 2012 and winner of our anti-Mercury, Jovian prize – live at the Mute Presents Short Circuit Festival live at London’s Roundhouse in 2011.
Questions over whether the collaborative, improvisational project had a future were answered by a series of live gigs (dubbed ‘Transverse II’) across Europe in 2014 and 2015.
But now a new (actually, strictly speaking their first…) studio album has been announced.
f (x) will be available on CD, DL and vinyl from the label which was first set up by Throbbing Gristle in 1976.
A brief press release this morning promises the album will contain "distinctive metallic guitar sound, resounding bass lines, electro industrial rhythms and heavily processed vocals" while warning that "this album is not for the fainthearted".
The track listing, typically, yields few clues:
Track List / Times:

f=(2.5) 09’11”
f=(2.2) 09’15”✶

There will be an interview with CTV on tQ this Autumn.
