Erasure will release their next single, ‘Reason’, from recent album The Violet Flame next month, via Mute, and ahead of that, we’re very excited to bring you the first play of a Carter Tutti remix of the track, streaming above. Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti stretch the original out to seven minutes of beguiling synths, built around a driving beat and Andy Bell’s longing refrain. The remix is set for release on November 24 as part of a nine-track CD or download package, with the CD edition exclusively available to purchase online from Erasure’s Lexer Music shop.
Erasure play a lengthy UK tour through November and December, culminating in two nights at the London Forum on December 14 and 15 – you can find full tour details here. Carter Tutti Void, meanwhile, play the final show in their recent return at Unsound in Kraków tonight.
