Caribou To Release New Album

Swim out in April

Caribou will release their new album, Swim, on April 19th. The follow-up to 2008’s Andorra, which won Dan Snaith the Polaris Prize, will be released on City Slang and mixed by David Wrench of Julian Cope’s Black Sheep band.

Speaking about the record, he said: “I got excited by the idea of making dance music that’s liquid in the way it flows back and forth, the sounds slosh around in pitch, timbre, pan… Dance music that sounds like it’s made out of water rather than made out of metallic stuff like most dance music does.”

The tracklisting will be as follows:

Odessa

Sun

Kaili

Found Out

Bowls

Leave House

Hannibal

Lalibela

Jamelia
