Tonight, Cardiacs will be relaunching their website and online store, kickstarting a process of re-releasing some of their previously unavailable albums.
Among the reissued albums will be their landmark LP A Little Man and a House and the Whole World Window to mark the 25th anniversary of its release this year.
The activity comes five years after the band’s leader Tim Smith suffered a heart attack and a series of strokes in June 2008, and it’s set to be followed by a benefit concert, A Day Of Celebration for the Benefit of Tim Smith, taking place at the Salisbury Arts Centre on Saturday 24 August with The Scaramanga Six and Lake Of Puppies on the bill.
Head to their website, which is currently displaying the lyrics to ‘The Alphabet Business Concern (Home Of Fadeless Splendour)’ from 1991’s Heaven Born And Ever Bright (listen to the song below), from midnight to access the store and get hold of tickets for the concert at the Arts Centre’s website.
