Cafe OTO Launches Digital Label, TakuRoku

The label will release works created in response to current lockdown and social distancing measures

Cafe OTO has launched a new in-house digital label called TakuRoku.

The London venue’s label will release works created by artists in response to the current lockdown and social distancing measures that are being enforced across a number of nations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"As well as providing an outlet for some incredible new work being created over the past few weeks, TakuRoku aims to provide a way to help sustain both Cafe OTO and the artists involved through these incredibly challenging times," a statement shared by the team behind Cafe OTO says. 50% of the profits from each purchased download will go directly to the artist.

There are currently new works by Steve Gunn, HARRGA, Lucy Railton, Malvern Brume and more available via Cafe OTO’s online store, with lots more planned for release in the coming weeks.
