Cabaret Voltaire have announced their first UK show in two decades, set to take place at The Devil’s Arse Cave in Castleton, Derbyshire next month.
The show is billed as a performance consisting solely of machines, multi-screen projections and Richard H. Kirk, and will see Cabaret Voltaire play entirely new material, specifically eschewing any element of nostalgia. The Devil’s Arse has played host to a small number of performances in recent years, with its entranceway serving as a natural amphitheatre.
Speaking recently to FACT about Cabaret Voltaire’s live shows, Richard H. Kirk said: "It’s totally new, I don’t play anything from the past. I always make it really clear that if you think you’re going to come and hear the greatest hits then don’t come because you’re not. What you might get is the same spirit."
The show takes place on April 29 and tickets are on sale here.
