Buzzcocks are set to reissue their albums A Different Kind Of Tension and Singles Going Steady.
The reissues follow on from the 40th anniversary re-release of their albums Another Music In A Different Kitchen and Love Bites back in January, as well as a number of other archival releases last year.
Both A Different Kind Of Tension and Singles Going Steady have been remastered from their original tapes for the first time and will each come packaged with 8-page booklets featuring unseen images and extensive liner notes. Both albums will be available on vinyl and CD for the first time in a number of years.
A Different Kind Of Tension was Buzzcocks’ third studio album, and their last to feature the line-up of Pete Shelley, Steve Diggle, Steve Garvey and John Maher. It was originally released in 1979. Singles Going Steady was also originally released that same year, and initially put out as a US-only release as a means of introducing American audiences to the band.
The reissues are both out on June 14.
