Brian Eno And More Feature On Palestinian Aid Compilation

'It's Not Complicated' also features music by Lee Gamble and Nicolás Jaar's Against All Logic project, among others

A new compilation in support of Palestine has been released.

Put together by pan-Arab music magazine and collective Ma3azef, It’s Not Complicated features 19 tracks in all, from the likes of Brian Eno, Nicolás Jaar’s Against All Logic project, Lee Gamble, Lafawndah and Bergsonist. The participating artists were instructed to submit their versions of an "audio protest" following the violent clashes between Israeli and Palestinian groups last month.

All proceeds from sales of the compilation will go towards Medical Aid for Palestine, a charity operating in the West Bank and Gaza, as well as to Grassroots Al-Quds, a Palestine-based community and networking platform.

This is Ma3azef’s second full-length compilation release, following on from last year’s Nisf Madeena, which raised funds for a number of Lebanese NGOs after the deadly factory explosion in Beirut last August.

It’s Not Complicated is out now on Ma3azef.
