Earlier this week, Jeremy Corbyn continued his campaign to become the next leader of the Labour Party with a rally that drew a reported crowd of around 2,500 people. Among those people, and speaking on the night, was Brian Eno who gave speeches in support of Corbyn alongside writer and columnist Owen Jones and former London mayor Ken Livingstone.
One of the key sentences of Eno’s speech, which you can watch in part below, was his comment that “I don’t think electability is really the most important thing. I think what’s important is that somebody changes the conversation.”
The event, which took place on Monday night, was so popular that many of those turning out to see Corbyn and guests speak could not gain entry into Camden’s Town Hall where it all happened.
