New Springsteen Album Due In January

'Magic' follow-up to coincide with Obama's inauguration

Bruce Springsteen hopes to have a new record out around the time of Barack Obama’s inauguration as president in January next year.

The Boss man had spent autumn readying the new album, the follow-up to last year’s Magic, before helping out Obama on the campaign trail.

It is currently unclear whether material left over from the Magic sessions will appear on the record, but ‘Workin’ On A Dream’, a song debuted at an Obama rally in Cleveland, Ohio with wife Patti Scialfa last weekend, is expected to feature.
