Boiler Room has partnered with Apple Music to bring a number of archive sets broadcast over the years to the streaming giant.
Having initially announced plans for the partnership last month, Apple Music and Boiler Room have now confirmed further details around royalty payments. 100% of royalties from streams of the DJ sets that are uploaded to Apple Music will be paid out between the DJs and the rights-holders of the music that is featured (provided the music is officially registered).
"A catalogue of over 200 of the most influential recordings from Boiler Room’s ten-year history" is promised by Boiler Room as part of the deal. All DJs whose sets are being uploaded to Apple Music have given their approval.
Boiler Room will also host a weekly radio show on Apple Music 1 – Boiler Room Radio – where listeners will be able to listen in to hear in-depth interviews and mixes from featured artists.
