LISTEN: Bob Mould – ‘Hey Mr. Grey’

Former Husker Du frontman Bob Mould has announced the release of his upcoming new solo album. Titled Beauty & Ruin, it’s set for release on June 9th via Merge Records, preceded by the single ‘I Don’t Know You Anymore’. Described by the label as "a twelve-track journey of loss, reflection, conciliation, and coming through the other side", it was in part inspired by the death of Mould’s father in 2012, and again finds him playing alongside his long-term bandmates Jason Narducy (on bass and backing vocals) and Jon Wurster (on drums). To preview the album the label have released album track ‘Hey Mr. Grey’, a characteristically breakneck, driving pop song.
