After several week’s worth of excited chatter following Record Store Day’s series of clues hinting at the existence of a new Boards Of Canada album, the first new music from the duo since 2007’s The Campfire Headphase has now come to light. You can watch the video for ‘Reach For The Dead’, taken from new album Tomorrow’s Harvest, via the embed above.
The track was first shown at midnight in Japan, on a large screen in the Shibuya district of Tokyo yesterday. You can read about the odd choice of premiere here. It was then aired on the Marc Riley show on BBC Radio 6 this evening and is now available to buy from download stores.
Keep an eye the Quietus for a track-by-track preview of Tomorrow’s Harvest (due out via Warp on June 10).
