Blur. Springsteen. Young. Glastonbury ’09?

First rumours of possible Headliners appear.

Despite the fact that Glastonbury organisers haven’t confirmed any major acts for next year’s festival, that hasn’t stopped Joe Public from casting all sorts of aspersions over the internet.

Rumours are already circulating that Blur, Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young will taking the headline slots and, according to gossip website Holy Moly, the Kaiser Chiefs will be joining them.

Meanwhile, over at efestivals.co.uk, in addition to those mentioned there are “strong rumours” that Kanye West, The Specials, Squeeze and The Coral will be appearing.

Alas, so far the first act to be officially announced for Glastonbury 2009 is Liverpool based four-piece Major Major.

As per usual, the festival will take place Worthy Farm, Pilton on June 26th, 27th and 28th next summer.

See the Glastonbury website for ticket details.
