Take a look below at the video for Blues Control’s ‘Walking Robin’ from their latest LP Valley Tangents, out via Drag City. The video matches their harpsichord and synth-inflected instrumental lo-fi to sweeping footage of landscape and birds in flight. The director, Clémence Hébert, filmed on the Danish island of Tunø in the Kattegat Sea, making much of the summer’s lengthy daylight hours and shooting the bonfires lit by locals on Midsummer Day to celebrate the season, leaving us with a rather lovely promo.
