LISTEN: Bleaching Agent’s Babolat EP

Further adventures in techno from the Blacknecks man

Our man Bleaching Agent’s been busy of late. Following his contribution to Black Friday insanity with a riotous snaffling of two pints of Waitrose skimmed milk at 89p and his work as part of cosy, take-’em-home-to-meet-your-mum electronic two-piece Blacknecks, Al Matthews put out a four-tracker, Sun Spool, on New Year’s Eve, via Edinburgh imprint TSAR, and is now dealing out another set of deeply satisfying heaviness with his Babolat EP. It’s due on Komisch Records next month, but you can get a full taste of it above via the SoundCloud embed (with the tracks confusingly in reverse order). Drink deep.
