Blancmanage will next month release a new album called Wanderlust, and streaming exclusively above is a new single titled ‘Not A Priority’.
‘Not A Priority’ sees Blancmange’s Neil Arthur enlist Hannah Peel to contribute guest vocals on the chorus. He describes the track as being about "people who are apparently not seen by others, who have a sense that you don’t count or are seen as not important."
Wanderlust is comprised of 10 new songs composed by Arthur and arranged and co-produced with John Grant collaborator and Wrangler member Benge. It’s the second album Arthur has worked on in 2018 following on from his collaboration with Jez Bernholz on Near Future’s debut album Ideal Home, which was released in May.
Blanc Check Records will release Wanderlust on October 19. Blancmange will tour the UK in support of the album through November, and you can check the full list of dates here.
