Black Country, New Road Detail New LP, ‘Ants From Up There’

They've also shared lead track 'Chaos Space Marine'

Black Country, New Road have revealed details of their second album, Ants From Up There.

Set for release in February, the album was recorded over the course of this past summer at the Isle Of Wight’s Chale Abbey Studios. It follows on from the band’s debut album, For The First Time, which was released in February of this year and marked their signing to Ninja Tune. Alongside the announcement of Ants From Up There, the band have shared lead track ‘Chaos Space Marine’, which you can check out above.

Describing the track as "the best song we’ve ever written" in a statement, frontman Isaac Wood said: "We threw in every idea anyone had with that song. So the making of it was a really fast, whimsical approach – like throwing all the shit at the wall and just letting everything stick."

Ninja Tune will release Ants From Up There on February 4, 2022.
