Björk is set to bring her ‘Cornucopia’ live show concept to the UK & Ireland for the first time this autumn.
She previously described the show as her "most elaborate stage concert yet" ahead of its debut earlier this year at New York venue The Shed. Now, she will roll it out at London’s The O2 on November 19, Glasgow’s SSE Hydro on November 25 and The 3Arena in Dublin on November 28.
‘Cornucopia’ is Björk’s first live show to be produced alongside theatrical collaborators. For the shows, she is joined by seven-piece Icelandic flute ensemble Viibra, who were also previously involved in her performances last summer backing latest album Utopia. There will also be a harpist (Katie Buckley) and percussionist (Manu Delgado) on stage, while Ólafur Arnalds collaborator Bergur Þórisson will handle electronics.
Pre-sale tickets for the shows will go live tomorrow morning (August 8) at 10AM BST. General sale will follow a day later.
Yesterday, Björk debuted a new video for Utopia track ‘losss’. You can see it above.
