Björk Announces New Album Vulnicura

It's due out in March and features The Haxan Cloak and Arca

Fine news to gild your morning: Björk has revealed details about her new album. Vulnicura was named through a Facebook post, where Björk added that it would be out in March. We already know that it features contributions from Arca, the producer who’s previously worked with Kanye West on Yeezus and FKA twigs on last year’s debut album, and longstanding tQ favourite The Haxan Cloak, who tweeted last week: "I can now share, with equal parts humility and excitement, the last few months I’ve been working with @bjork on her new record. An honour."

As well as the album, the Icelandic artist will have a retrospective of her work opening at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. As Pitchfork report, it will "chronicle her career through sound, film, visuals, instruments, objects, costumes, and performance", and was put together with director, visual artist and previous collaborator Andrew Huang and Autodesk, a US software company.
