Titled Weather Alive, the eight-track record marks Orton’s signing to Partisan Records, and comes six years on from her last full-length effort, Kidsticks. You can watch a video for the new album’s title track above.

Orton worked on Weather Alive from her home studio in London, and the album features contributions from The Smile’s drummer Tom Skinner; The Invisible’s bassist Tom Herbert; Alabaster dePlume; and multi-instrumentalist Shahzad Ismaily.

Partisan will release Weather Alive on September 23, 2022.
