The first set of acts for this year’s Berlin Atonal has been announced with the likes of British Murder Boys (playing their first show in Germany in a decade), Lanark Artefax and Helena Hauff amongst those confirmed to play.
Actress, Beatrice Dillon, Giant Swan and Ora Iso are all confirmed to play live sets, while the likes of Courtesy, Samuel Kerridge, Skee Mask and Veronica Vasicka are locked in for DJ sets.
As ever, the festival will also host a series of special commissions and live premieres including a first-time live A/V performance by Gábor Lázár of material from his recent Unfold album, Lucrecia Dalt performing a new work based on music from her RVNG Intl.-released Anticlines LP, Lowtec and Kassem Mosse coming together for a live A/V performance as Kolorit, Hiro Kone presenting a live show called ‘Pure Expenditure’ and Iona Fortune playing a live A/V set titled ‘Chaotic Profusion’.
