Ben Frost Reveals First Studio Album In Six Years, ‘Scope Neglect’

He's also shared lead track 'The River Of Light And Radiation'

Ben Frost has shared details of his first studio album in six years, which is titled Scope Neglect.

Set for release through Mute, the eight-track release features contributions from Liam Andrews of MY DISCO and Greg Kubacki of Car Bomb. It’s said to blend elements of metal and minimalism, according to a press release, with one cut from the record, ‘Turning The Prism’, having already been released in November. You can listen to another song from the album, titled ‘The River Of Light And Radiation’, above.

In a statement about Scope Neglect, Frost said: "There is always a shape and a sense of proportion that I am looking for. And with these elements, I was looking to sort of recalibrate some familiar mechanics with the hope of creating something new."

Mute will release Scope Neglect on March 1, 2024.
