WATCH: Bell Gardens – South

Final video from last year's debut album

Last year, Los Angeles duo Bell Gardens, comprising Stars Of The Lid’s Brian McBride and Furry Things/[a]pendics.shuffle’s Kenneth James Gibson released their debut LP, Full Sundown Assembly, via Southern Records. In advance of new material, which is on the way, we’re chuffed to host a final video from the debut – have a watch of ‘South’ above.

Much like the band’s sonics, the video’s a sun-bleached affair, tracing our (mostly) masked and bewigged protagonist as she goes about her day (has a bath, goes for a constitutional, has a nap in a lovely villa).

What does it all mean, you say? Afraid the duo themselves are keeping shtum, with Gibson sending us only this message: "As we are hard at work on the next album, we’re happy to offer one last video from Full Sundown Assembly! We will be playing the Desert Stars Festival along with David J (Love and Rockets), Strangers Family Band, Asteroid #4 and a whole lot more September 6."
