Beatrice Dillon Shares New Music and Launches Label, HI

The new imprint's inaugural release, Seven Reorganisations, is out next month

Beatrice Dillon is releasing a new double-single.

Seven Reorganisations was originally commissioned by Mark Fell for a performance at Sheffield’s No Bounds festivals in 2022, with Dillon writing and composing the piece to be performed by contemporary classical group Explore Ensemble. A recording of the composition will now be released to launch a new label from Dillon, called HI.

This will be Dillon’s first release of new music since 2020’s PAN-released album Workaround. In the time since, she’s worked with Bendik Giske on his self-titled 2023 album and composed a soundtrack for a film by visual artist Helen Marten.

You can listen to ‘Seven Reorganisations I’ ahead of the full release below.

HI will release Seven Reorganisations on November 1, 2024.
