Bristol trio BEAK>, featuring Portishead’s Geoff Barrow alongside Billy Fuller and Matt Williams, are releasing a special limited edition 10" (mock-up artwork above) for Record Store Day on April 20.
It features two tracks – ‘0898’, recorded last year during sessions for their second album and previously only available on an ultra-limited edition CD box set of the LP, and their cover of Pink Floyd’s ‘Welcome To The Machine’ – and is only available in a run of 1000 copies, but you can have a listen to both tracks here ahead of the release:
It’s one of Invada’s two RSD offerings, the other being a two-track 10" of The Fauns remixes, featuring reworkings by the label’s Redg Weeks and film composer extraordinaire Clint Mansell, which we’ve previously posted – have a listen here.
