Bauhaus Share First Song In 14 Years, ‘Drink The New Wine’

It's the first original music to emerge from the veteran goth group since 2008 album 'Go Away White'

Bauhaus have released a new song, called ‘Drink The New Wine’.

The track is the first original material to be shared by the group since 2008 album Go Away White, and was written last year amid lockdown. Said to be inspired by the Surrealist movement, the song came together after the group’s four members (Peter Murphy, Daniel Ash, Kevin Haskins, and David J) starting sharing audio files among themselves to construct an ‘exquisite corpse’ without hearing what the other members had done. While the band haven’t released any new music before now since 2008, they reunited for their first shows together in 13 years in 2019, and will begin touring again this May across the US.

‘Drink The New Wine’ is out now on Bauhaus Music.
