Batu has a new EP on the way, titled Question Mark.
Spanning four tracks, it builds on the UK producer’s expansive club sound explored on past releases for labels such as Hessle Audio, Livity Sound and his own Timedance and A Long Strange Dream imprints. Exploring a variety of tempos, the new record marks Batu’s first outing on a label he doesn’t run since 2018 XL-released Rebuilt 12-inch, and will come out on Lethal Press, a new sister label to the Istanbul-based imprint Oath.
