Bandcamp Adds Queue Listening Feature To App

Users can now build playlists within the mobile app to soundtrack their journeys and more

Bandcamp has introduced a new queue listening feature on its app, meaning users can now line up continuous playlists.

The development, which many users have been calling for for some time, now places Bandcamp’s app in line with that of other streaming services, while also carrying the ability for users to directly purchase music and merchandise from artists and labels. The queue listening feature also allows users to shuffle the music they’ve queued up, or place it in a simple loop.

The addition of the queue listening feature comes as Bandcamp continues with its monthly fee-waive days on the first Friday of every month. The fee-waive days were first introduced in early 2020 as much of the world went into lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
