Bad Guys Split Up

Band call it a day after seven years together

Producers of some of tQ’s favourite music in the seven years that they have been together, Bad Guys have announced that they have split up.

"The problem with Bad Guys is, they never last, they always have to die, most often horribly or creatively exiled like in Superman II," a note on their Facebook page reads. "So it is with sadness we announce Stuart, singer, original member and brother’s time has come to an end. He has other things to say in different ways in different formats in other places. Replacing someone like Stu is nigh on impossible so PJ, Dave and Tamas will continue in another project but it will not be Bad Guys."

The band say there will "be a very limited edition release of some new songs we are managing to record before Stuart drifts off into the horizon" before they play their last ever show. They will play their final show at Hackney’s Moth Club on February 4 with all proceeds set to go to charity. Find out more about the show and get tickets here.
