With the upcoming ATP weekenders recently thrown into doubt following Pontins Prestatyn’s claims that both festivals had been cancelled, the organisers have now announced that the second of the events, to be curated by Drive Like Jehu, will now be held at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse.
Organisers explained last month that Pontins Prestatyn originally cancelled both upcoming events following a delay in payment of the deposit by ATP for use of the venue. Now it will take place at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse on the same dates of April 22-24. All tickets previously bought for the festival will still be valid at the new venue and the organisers say they are contacting tickets holders individually to arrange changes. ATP also say that all current ticket holders will be provided with hotels in close proximity to the festival’s new location in Manchester. The change does not affect the Stewart Lee-curated event due to be held at Pontins Prestatyn the weekend before from April 15-17.
