At The Drive-In To Reform

Notice on seminal Texan post-hardcore troupe's website informs the world that 'This station is now operational'

Following speculation flying around the internet as of late about the potential reunion of big-haired El Paso post-hardcore crew At The Drive-In, a notice on the band’s website appears to confirm the rumours.

"To whom it may concern," the front page says, "At The Drive-In will be breaking their 11 year silence. THIS STATION IS… NOW… OPERATIONAL."

At The Drive-In split at the height of their popularity after the release of 2001’s Relationship Of Command album, amid intra-band tension. Immediately afterwards they formed Sparta and The Mars Volta, both of whom have played and released records intermittently in the interim period.
