Arca has released the first single from her next album, KiCK i.
Titled ‘Nonbinary’, you can check a video for the track above. Arca appears in the video, while a press release explains that ‘Nonbinary’ and its accompanying video offer a "first look into the transformation that Arca’s undergone" since her 2017 self-titled album. The track sees Arca repeat the line, "speak for your self-states."
Arca first shared details of KiCK i in March during an interview with Garage Magazine, revealing the album title as well as guest appearances by Björk and Rosalía. No release date has yet been set for the album.
The release of ‘Nonbinary’ follows on from the March release of an hour-long piece by Arca called ‘@@@@@’.
