Årabrot have shared a new single called ‘Maldoror’s Love’ which you can listen to above.
The track is lifted from their upcoming album Who Do You Love which follows on from 2016’s The Gospel, tQ’s favourite album of 2016. The band have been rehearsing and recording material for the album in frontman Kjetil Nernes’ new base of a former church in the woods of Dalarna in rural Sweden.
"’Maldoror’s Love’ is for all of you lovers out there whose love has been tainted, corrupted or touched by pure evil," says Kjetil Nernes. "The love of Maldoror is pure like hate. It is real love."
The track follows on from a cover of Nina Simone’s ‘Sinnerman’ which the band shared in April, and the album’s release on September 7 comes ahead of a string of European tour dates in November including appearances at London’s The Dome on November 2 and Leeds’ Damnation Festival on November 3.
