Aphex Twin Shares Video For ‘Blackbox Life Recorder 21f’

It's directed by the artist's longtime visual collaborator Weirdcore

Aphex Twin, AKA Richard D. James, has shared a video for recent track ‘Blackbox Life Recorder 21f’.

Featuring visuals by the UK artist’s longtime collaborator Weirdcore, it’s James’ first music video in five years, after the Weirdcore-produced visual for 2018 cut ‘T69 Collapse’. The new video, which you can watch above, ends with a dedication to James’ late parents, Lorna and Derek James.

The unveiling of the video follows the release last week of the EP Blackbox Life Recorded 21f / In A Room F760 via Warp Records. James also shared two previously unreleased cuts, dating back to the mid-’00s, via SoundCloud last week.
