Bristol sci-prog quartet ANTA have unveiled a new video for ‘Voxel’ – the first track to be revealed from their forthcoming album, Organesson – a week ahead of their set at Acid Horse in Wiltshire (May 24).
‘Voxel’s “party prog” narrative concerns the story of a sacked P.E. Teacher’s attempt to reclaim his life as an influencer, played here with an uncanny verisimilitude by keys man Alex Bertram-Powell.
Organesson releases 5 June Bristol label Stolen Body Records. The label says: “The record weaves together mesmerising, muscular riffs in insanely loud compositions that extend well into excess… Organesson strides from one raging refrain to the next, lurching between devastation, joy, chaos, and stirring the themes accumulated along the way in exposition.”
ANTA will be touring songs from Organesson May-June with fellow Bristol art-rockers Sans Froid.
