Anne Pigalle Launches Exhibition

Singer/artist's L'Ame Erotique runs from now until November 18th at London's Eight Bank

Anne Pigalle has launched an exhibition at Eight Bank In London. The ex-ZTT surrealist chanteuse and multi-media polymath recently resurfaced musically, with two brilliant CD’s of vignettes, poetry and lo-fi electronic pop released this year, and has collaborated with everyone from Michael Nyman to Donald Cammell.

Entitled L’Ame Erotique, Pigalle’s exhibition presents "photographs and paintings that are reminiscent and influenced by cathartic religious ex-votos." It started yesterday (8th November) and runs until next Friday, 18th November. For more information about the exhibition and other projects happening this month, details are available on her website.

We will be publishing a wide-ranging interview with Pigalle in the near future. In the meantime you can watch some of her recent video work below.
