The ecstatic prog-pop futures of Baltimore’s Animal Collective have been added to the bill for this year’s Sonar festival in Barcelona.
The band will appear before Orbital at SonarClub on Saturday June 20th, in what will be their only Spanish show this year.
Sonar 2009 runs from Thursday 18th – Saturday 20th June and boasts a ridiculous line-up, sets expected from Fever Ray, Grace Jones, James Pants, Joker, Martyn, Micachu and the Shapes, Dorian Concept, Mike Slott, DJ Mujava, Onra, Shed, SND, The Gaslamp Killer and many, many more.
