André 3000 To Tour 2023 Album ‘New Blue Sun’

The Outkast rapper's flute-based solo LP will be showcased in a series of intimate live shows across the US

André 3000 is lining up a run of live shows in support of his 2023 solo album, New Blue Sun.

The intimate run of live dates across the US will kick off on January 29 at Brooklyn’s Crown Hill Theatre, with further shows set to run through February and March, and take the Outkast member to venues in New York, Detroit, Chicago, San Francisco, Atlanta, and Los Angeles. Tickets and a full list of dates are available here.

Released in November, New Blue Sun saw André 3000 put aside the singing and rapping he was known for with Outkast to play various kinds of flute. Co-produced with percussionist Carlos Niño, it also featured contributions from keyboardist Surya Botofasina and guitarist Nate Mercereau, in addition to several other artists. Many of those featured on the record will join André for the run of US shows, which marks his first tour outside of Outkast.
